Indian farmers consume 50% higher water, 15% higher crop inputs, yet loose 40% of revenue due to low quality and lower yield. One of the major reasons being unscientific application of water during crop life cycle. Crop water requirement varies based on the crop type, variety, age, and soil type. At cultYvate we target water sensitive (Banana, Grapes and Pomegrante) and water intensive crops (Paddy, Sugarcane, cotton) where in critical irrigation management is the key to get higher yields. Our solution leverages on IoT, AI & ML based crop models integrated with satellite and weather data.
