The paper-dip assay kit is comprised of primary antibody, conjugate/HPRT and secondary antibody, DAB, water and a paper strip. The kit describes a method of detecting the concentration levels of GDF family member proteins wherein the bands are measured to infer the association between titers and body weights. Presence of bands below the threshold titer - low body weight of an animal and the absence of bands below the threshold titer - High Body Weight.
