We have developed biocatalytic method to transform the sucrose present in stalk juice into prebiotic molecules like glucooligosaccharides, fructooligosaccharides.The bioprocess is capable to generate bio-value in the sweet sorghum biomass in terms of agri-food value-added products, functional additives, and formulations, etc., and thus, will be helpful in making this crop more profitable and sustainable.
