FecB is an autosomal dominant gene located on chromosome 6, responsible for increasing the ovulation rate and litter size in sheep. In this method the recipient breed and homozygous animal as Donor is selected. By crossing the Recipient and Donor breeds introgression of the FecB gene is carried out to improve the productivity.
