Unique Features Of The Solution/equipment - How Is It Different Than What Is Available In The Market:

The machine separates the paddy from the stack without any winnowing process. It should remove the paddy form the stalks of the crops and mildly crush the straw to make it edible for cattle. It does not chop the straw and hence we get it in full length. Low cost and high power threshing machine The device is easy to install and maintain.

In paddy cultivation, threshing operation, which involves separation of paddy from stalk, is one of the time consuming and laborious step/activity. Conventional methods of paddy threshing involve beating the stacks manually against stone or by using drought animals to walk on the paddy stacks.So RuTAG IIT-Madras has developed a paddy thresher that can thresh without chopping the straw of the crop.
