Unique Features Of The Solution/equipment - How Is It Different Than What Is Available In The Market:

The process involves endothermic calcination of limestone at high temperature (900-1200 degree celsius) under atmospheric pressure. The mixed feed of limestone and coal is charged into the kiln at the top and the product i.e. quick lime along with by product (lime waste) is withdrawn from the bottom. Process saves 10-15% fuel over conventional line kilns and is suitable for calcite and dolomite limestone.
