we will developed a novel bio-fertilizer, which will be formulated from novel metal tolerant plant growth promoting (PGP) bacterial isolates, which can be applied in any conditions of soil. As Jharkhand is known for coal based industries. Historically, it was the most productive agricultural tract of the country and its agriculture maintained a lead over other regions. But presently agricultural development in this region is much below its potential due to high metal concentration in soil.

With the increasing human population all the over the World, food is becoming a scarce resource day by day and this is going to further increase day by day. Thus, it is URGENT to adopt all possible measures for optimum utilization of all possible resources and their proper management. FARMING traditionally means organized cultivation of selected crops- mainly to meet the three basic needs of man- i.e. food, shelter and clothing. However, with increasing demands for food, Modern Agriculture has become primarily & heavily dependent on chemical inputs viz. Pesticides and fertilizers - which are being often excessively & indiscriminately used. As a consequence pollution level of food products, soil, water & air with these chemicals is posing a serious threat to man & environment.Huge quantities of hazardous chemical pesticides & fertilizers are currently being indiscriminately and excessively used in the farming systems. This not only adds to the cost of cultivation but also results in residue problems from these toxic chemicals in food produce as well as it causes soil, air and ground water pollution. In the present proposal, we will check the field efficacy of previously isolated metal tolerant plant growth promoting (PGP) bacterial strains. The aim of the study is to mass production of bio-fertilizer for application in agricultural soils. The use of eco-friendly locally prepared / formulated bio-fertilizers products from locally isolated metal tolerant microbial strains will greatly help in reducing cost of cultivation (in sourcing of nutrients) as well as save human & livestock health and environment. Besides, use of bio-fertilizers will protect farmer women from occupational hazards to which they are exposed, while using hazardous toxic fertilizers and pesticides.Organic inputs is an initiative to be adopted for all kinds of crop cultivation which aims at Production of Qualitative Product in harmony with nature, free from any hazard of residual toxicity caused due to indiscriminate and faulty applications of agro- chemicals. At the end of the study we will develop a technique for mass production and bio-fertilizer, Also, we will produce a bio-fertilizer formulation. The CoVID migrant people will be engaged during the mass production, distribution of the product, and also application of the products in the field. The CoVID migrant will also be engaged through training programs for the same and master trainers.
