Unique Features Of The Solution/equipment - How Is It Different Than What Is Available In The Market:

Brine shrimp or artemia is an excellent live feed for aquaculture. It lives in saline lakes, lagoons and man-made solar salterns. It takes 15 days for the newborn larva to grow to adult size. The adults release cysts every 5 days in the form of floating spherical brown particles which are concentrated at the edges of the ponds. The cysts can be kept viable up to 20 yr. Permanent availability of cysts, simple hatching techniques, small size, slow swimming behaviour, softness of body issue, presence of essential fatty and amino acids and high protein content make the brine shrimp very popular among the aquarium fish breeders.
