4-galactosyl-kojibiose is a high-value bio molecule of prebiotic nature. We have developed a process of its production from low-cost feed stocks, cane molasses and whey.

A bio process has been developed to produce the high-value bio molecule, 4-galactosyl-kojibiose, from the low-cost feed stock obtained from agro-industrial residues e.g. cane molasses and liquid whey. In place of cane molasses, table sugar or jaggery can also be used.
